hi

yes, just mere hours before the meeting i am finishing up the task i
was assigned. but it's still before the meeting ...

a google search tops off with q plone blog:
http://plone.org/products/qploneblog/releases/2.5.2

it's still marked as beta with a warning about not using on production
sites. it has some nice features, like support for audio and video
enclosures, rss2 &c.

there's also a blog that is run on the main plone site:

but i couldn't figure out what it was running. i took a look at the
RSS feed and found the generator tag:
<generator>Plone 2.0</generator>
so maybe blogging is 'built in' to plone 2.0

and then there's a link to 'enterprise blogging solutions', which also
has a list of software with plone at the top:
http://www.enterpriseblogs.info/software

if plone can run blogs itself, that might be a good place to start. a
pilot project to get the blog up and running, and make some posts, and
see how the controls work, &c. might be a good first [second?] step.
