That's true, but let's get the hardware set up now.  I've got cases, power
supplies and fans sitting around; what I don't have are mainboards, memory
and disks.  So if we can't get a complete machine somewhere, we could build
one from spare parts.

I'm going to be visiting my recycling center after the holidays to try to
pick up whatever old systems people throw out.  I've built some pretty good
systems for free that way before.
