in person is fine.

i'm a bit wary of conference calls- sometimes too many people try to
talk all at the same time. maybe it would be better if we did an
irc/chat session of some soft along with or in place of the conference
call. multiple people may also try to talk during a chat session, but
everything is in the chat window [instead of in our 'memories']-
making it easier to reconstruct the logic [?] of the conversation.

also, it makes it much easier to pass URLs around, and so on ...
