Green-Rainbow Party Locals
A GRP local is any group of Green-Rainbow Party members who meet on a regular basis to promote the ideals and politics of the 10 key values in their community.
Community is self-defined. It may be a town or city of the Commonwealth, but it can also be a neighborhood or bio-region or a group of towns with common issues.
It can also be an identity or spiritual or common interest or issue based community. A local which is based upon identity or common cause definitions of community is often referred to as a Caucus of the Green-Rainbow Party.
A broader, outside the box, definition of the term community is a fundamental part of our grassroots organizing strategy and political vision.
