GRP representation in the Green Party of the United States
The Green-Rainbow Party has representatives on several committees of the
Green Party of the United States (GPUS).
GPUS National Committee (GPUS/NC)
The GPUS Coordinating Committee consists of delegates and alternates from
each of the state Green parties affiliated with the national Green Party.
The GPUS National Committee is the principal decision-making (legislative)
body of the national Green Party. The GPUS/NC meets once a year but conducts
most of its regular business through online (email and web) voting.
GRP delegates to the GPUS/NC
The GRP currently has five delegates and one alternate serving on the GPUS/NC.

Other GPUS committees
In addition to the GPUS/NC, there are GRP representatives on several
other GPUS working committees. Many of these committees allow
participation by any member of a state Green party. However, some
of these committees require confirmation of the GRP representatives
by our state committee. Additionally, some other GRP members have
sought (and received) the blessing of the GRP state committee to
serve on GPUS working committees, even though state committee
approval (for these committees) is not required by the GPUS.
If you are interested in becoming a member
of one of the GPUS working committees and wish to receive the
approval of the GRP state committee, please contact one of the
GRP co-chairs or GRP GPUS/NC reps so that we can assist you in
pursuing this.
