- Join in deciding the direction of our work.
- Elect our Party Officers and Directors.
- Get involved in making a difference.
- Whether you are new or old to activism, we are making change and you can help our effectiveness! Your voice is important. Come and make history.
Convention will be followed by a Fun and Fundraiser Dinner with Open Mike and Musical Jam Session! So bring your instruments!
If you can’t come, please send a donation if you can to help offset the cost for all our sisters and brothers who can’t afford to pay. You can download fill out a donation form and send it in with your donation, or donate online.
Volunteer help is needed at the convention. Please consider that this event is your event and by pitching in will make it run smoother and easier. Cleanup, especially on saturday evening, is always welcome, as well as food prep help.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided from wheelchair accessible Brandeis Roberts MBTA Commuter Rail (Purple Line) station. Call 978.505.8159 or email transportation at green-rainbow.org to arrange a pickup before the day of the convention.

From points West/North/South of Waltham
- Get to Route 128/95 and head towards Waltham
- Take exit 28A from the south and head east on Trapello. Take exit 28 from the north; at the end of the ramp take a left turn at the stop sign to take the bridge over 128.
- Go through 2 full sets of lights and about a mile after the second light take a right on Forest St.
- Take Forest St to the end and at the lights take a left onto Beaver St.
- Proceed about a 1/2 mile through one full set of lights (Bentley campus) and look for Cedar Hill Girl Scouts sign on left opposite green houses on the right.
- Follow signs for parking.
From points East of Waltham
- Take Mt Auburn St from Cambridge heading west.
- Branch right onto Belmont St at the border of Watertown and Cambridge.
- Branch slight right onto Trapelo Rd in Belmont.
- At Route 60 near border of Waltham and Belmont, take left.
- Proceed to first lights and take a right onto Beaver St.
- Proceed down about 1/5 mile and and look for Cedar Hill Girl Scouts sign on right opposite green houses on the left.
- Follow signs for parking.
Convention Agenda and Schedule
Workshops
Workshops provide attendees with the opportunity to network and to learn. There will be a number of workshops that will furnish information on diverse issues such as party building, diversity, environment, and poverty.
Plenary sessions
We will nominate and elect officers, including a female and male co-chairs, treasurer, secretary, communications director, membership director, and fundraising director. A plenary session will review any by-law changes that have taken place during the year. Committee chairs will give reports; proposals will be presented and voted on.
