Reports from AdCom
Thursday June 05, @02:28PM, by Jonathan Leavitt
Subject : Making monthly reports mandatory
Summary :
This proposal would require all elected AdCom members to submit a monthly report on their work (as it relates to the concrete specifics laid out in our by-laws)
Text :
There is currently no expectation that AdCom members make reports on their expected work. This gives the membership nothing to refer to when making decisions on who they will vote for and whether the work necessary to move us forward is actually getting done.

Therefore, beginning in July, it will be required that all AdCom members submit written reports (via e-mail) to the State Committee by the 15th of the following month.

These reports will ONLY refer to the expected duties that are stated clearly in our by-laws.

(Treasurers report will simply be the numbers she/he posts as part of the on-line reporting asked for in another proposal)

Any AdCom member who does not submit a report by the required date, will lose voting priviliges on the AdCom until the next State Committee meeting where voting priviliges can be restored.
