State Committee Members by Region for 2003/2004 Session

According to section 8.5.2 of the GRP bylaws, the regional (proportional representation) seats on the State Committee represent 12 regions of the Commonwealth: 11 regions are counties, and one is made up of Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties combined.

In 2003, as per section 8.5.2 of the GRP bylaws, the number of regional (proportional representation) seats on the State Committee members rose to 60 (previously there were 40). In addition, as per section 8.5.3 of the GRP bylaws, 6 diversity seats were allocated and appointed by the State Committee.

In 2004, as per section 8.5.1 of the GRP bylaws, as many as 80 State Committee seats may be elected in the Presidential primary (representing state senate districts).
