Odd year elections are when Massachusetts cities and most towns hold their elections. The Greens fielded at eleven candidates for local offices in 2001. Seven won and one more was appointed to an elected position. Massachusetts fielded 13% (7 of 52) of all of the Greens in the US who won office in 2001.
