In 1996, the Greens ran A. Charles Laws in the 10th Congressional
district. This district extended from Weymouth to the cape and the
islands. Charles was one of three candidates and received 10,916 votes
and 3.5% of the votes cast.
The Greens also ran Ralph Nader and Winona LaDuke as a write-in candidates for President and Vice-President. They received 4,565
votes.
