Comm Director Bad Email

Subject : comm director email address is bad
Summary :
I tried to email communications.director@g-r.o and it bouced, claiming that keith.wright@comcast.com is an unknown address.
Text :
I'll look around and see if there's a newer email address or a new contact person. We should maybe work on some procedure to automate this process, or at least make it less likely for bad emails to remain in the aliases file.

Keith Wright resigned and is no longer the communications director. I think Jim Bosman is unofficially or semi-officially the acting communications director at this point.

Aram pointed out that theyre hoping to elect a new CommDir at the StateCom meeting next week. In the interim, Ive set the communications.director address to forward to Jim Bosman. The problem? Group wheel still doesnt have write access to /etc/aliases.db, so I cant commit the change. Someone with root needs to run the `newaliases` command.
Ill email Jim to let him know, and I figured that this is a better solution than to have any messages bounce.

Jim Bosman is now the permanent communications director, so we can call this issue resolved.
By the way, I didn't see any way to "close" a topic in squishdot. It would be nice to go back to the main squishdot page and be able to scroll down and see just the items that are still not resolved.

This is one of the reasons why Id like to move to a bug tracking system. A BTS would probably have more features that we would find useful (specifically, the ability to mark an issue as `closed`.)
