Dealing with Spam

How can I deal with the spam that the mailing list I maintain receives.

The easiest way to do this is to configure the mailing list to reject all messages that come from non-members.

From the Mailman admin interface:

1. Choose the Privacy options menu then choose the Sender filters submenu
2. Near the bottom of that page is a radio button labeled Action to take for postings from non-members for which no explicit action is defined
3. Select the 'reject' option.
4. Save your change

All postings that are sent by non-members will automatically be rejected.
